Hello,
I've been digging around to get as much info about mothers and clones and would like to verify with experts here what I understood is correct.
so here I go:
1. For mothers (very first mother), start flowering phase and find out sex. If it's female take it out of flowering cycle and start veg cycle to maintain mother plant.
2. Cut around the 4th node of the mother's stems.
- Dip the end into water to remove any air pockets
- Make a 45 degree angled cut at the end
- Dip into root gel
- Plant into rockwool (rockwool is soaked in ph adjusted water with a few drops of superthrive) or directly into soil
- Maintain humidity and spray leaves with water
- If in rockwool, after about a week transplant into soil pot.
Did I get it right?
A few questions:
1. Can I transplant the rockwool directly into soil or do I need to somehow remove the rockwool material before planting into soil?
2. For maintaining mother's height do I place the mother into a small cabinet close to the lights? Or is the height depended on the size of the pot?
thanks guys!
I never thought growing could be this much fun. Weed got me into growing but it's also making me wanna grow my own vegetables too lol
