Hey fellow growers
So I have a question regarding CMH lighting.I have looked on the internet and thru the post on riu and see there are some common opinions on things like bulb choice, bulb placement etc. These may seem like very silly questions but before I spend more $ (which I said I wasn't going to do right now) but said F it and gonna do it.I have attached a link too the unit I am looking at,the reasons I would like this unit....it's Canadian made or claims too be,the place that sells them is 60km from my place so it's local, and seems too have the good stuff,LFSW ballast, option for Phillips green power bulbs

Here's a link

1- should the spectrum be the same from different manufacturers if the ballast being compared are LFSW,the exact same bulb is used, and bulb placement is the same?
Sounds like a dumb question but if sunsystems, sunplix,g.c or some other manufacturer has a clear advantage over others for whatever reason,I don't want too have buyers remorse, but also i do have a budget and just want too make the best choice within my $600 budget
2- will this have sufficient coverage in a small 4'x2x6' tent with 2 plants
3-should I be looking at vertical or horizontal bulb too get best results in the tent I am using
4-The 3100k Phillips green power bulb for both veg and flower

I know all this has likely been answered over and over, and I did spend some time reading, looking a spectrum graphs but I would like real world answers from real world users

No input on the brand your looking at but spectrum should be the same with the same lamp from brand to brand assuming the lamp is being powered within spec.
Your coverage is not going to be very good on the 4' dimension with a single fixture.
Something long like a 6 lamp T5 or an Inda-Gro induction would serve you better in my opinion.
Unless of course you can handle the heat and go full throttle with 2 CMH's :hump:
