Hi I am thinking about getting some auto flower seeds but everyone I talk to says they aren't worth it but they never grew one themselves they say they taste bad, the high isn't good, can't clone, low thc levels, not good for commercial grows and they hermie a lot. Can someone with experience tell me if these things are true. I find it hard to believe with all the strains that could be used that there would have to be some that was good.

Autos are definitely worth it, they have come a long way in the past few years. They are pretty much the same as photoperiod plants. Pick a good strain like WOS Afghan Kush and you can't go wrong. First time i grew them i averaged 1.6oz per plant, and that was with 9 crammed into a 80cm x 80cm space, that was with a 600w HPS. Thats 403g's in 2 months. I think .67 gpw is very good for something that grows in 2 months. They were totally coated in THC, and smell really fruity when cured. Its too potent to smoke all day, i end up falling asleep. They only hermie if you stress them a lot.
I would say that autos are definitely worth growing as they allow you to grow perpetual in one room, they finish much quicker than normal plants and the smoke is real good.

Do you know any other good strains? I'm looking in to buying a couple different strains if you has some other suggestions that would be great. I don't really have a preference I'm just looking for a variety.
G13 Auto AK is a very potent strain, dripping in thc, but doesn't produce as much as the Kush ryder. Also G13 Pineapple express is a good strain, but takes like 15-20 days longer to grow.
Dutch Passion do some very good strains, they do Auto Mazar which takes 100 days to finish but holds the confirmed world record of 360g for one plant, that like 13 oz from one plant.
There are plenty of good strains out there just check out peoples grow journals and see what you think looks best.

60 Day Wonder - My First Grow Report: Ive read that it tastes like fuel and is harsh however mine tasted awesome (earthy) and smooth as silk - organic grow (no nute residue) - Lots of Trichs - major body stone - Awesome for pain relief without clouding judgement. I tried one - liked it so much ive ordered another half dozen.

Starting up 6 autos, Angelmatic, Devilmatic and Royalmatic. Any advice for auto grows? they are germing now. I'll be using a 8 bulb t5 for veg and 400w hid for flower. Also gonna use foxfarm soil. Any tips much appreciated.
