Questionn bout 1000 watt please answer

so my 1000 watt light is capable of staying very cool and i can literally put the plant as close to the bulb as i want, so my question is, can the plant be be too close? will the intensity damage the plant or somethin?

Only thing u have to worry about is heat, there is no such thing as too much light.

And just make sure it doesn't grow into the bulb

what about so called "light bleaching" in the lighting forum under one of the main thread it speaks of this.

If the light gets too close it will bleach the leaves/buds.

how close is too close? whats the best distance???

I keep my plants at least 8" from the bottom of the bulb. seems like they stay pretty dark green there.
