Grow mo Active Member Sep 30, 2011 #1 so my 1000 watt light is capable of staying very cool and i can literally put the plant as close to the bulb as i want, so my question is, can the plant be be too close? will the intensity damage the plant or somethin?

G GreenLantern1 Member Oct 2, 2011 #7 I keep my plants at least 8" from the bottom of the bulb. seems like they stay pretty dark green there.
