Do you attain, or, are you granted?

From column A & B.

I am granted certain traits, given to me by lineage and attain goals for personal growth.

There are facets of life that are only attainable through the granted {not sure if this makes much sense, been puffing more then usual... nice excuse huh}

Yeah, I think I'm in the same boat. Seems to me like I have to apply myself to be granted attainment - (lol)

I realized after posing this question that it speaks to a state of mind. Two, actually. Active and Passive. Yin/Yang.

Both, at the same time. But only if you get exactly what you are looking for, if it's anything else... disregard.

I would like to think of it as positive even though the intial outcome was a negative, having gained perception/experience as the result.
