Question!!

I have a question about cfl lights and hps. Everyone says HPS is better because it gives off orange red spectrum but I see alot of CFL lighting and everything looks great!!! But isnt that more of white? Just wondering because as of right now im using a 400wMH with 2 different bulbs for veging and flowering. The flowering one gives off orange red but was wondering if I could add CFLs to the MH for better results, and arnt cfls a lot cheaper? Cause was gonna order HPS but on a budget at the moment!

You can get CFL bulbs in grow or bloom spectrums.
Extra light can't hurt - put the CFL bulbs in areas that your MH does not hit well.

Yeah thats what i was thinking. They sell them at like home depot they just normal bulbs or they only sell them at grow stores?

normal bulbs man, my mom uses 2700k cfls for the living room light walmart has them, go to home depot or lowes for the higher watt bulbs
