Question

My friend has two plants just sprouted but he's growing outside in an old coalfield and i don't think the soil is to healthy since in most parts there is still layers of coal so what do you all think about this?

dig some ORGANIC matter around the top roots,( rotted cow manure,)

Yeah like the widowman said. Since they are sprouts he can move them soon. Dig some nice sized wholes and put your own soil mix in, that will help. Good luck
