i plan on gettin a plant started in my grow room and then i wanna put it out side.....what is the best way to germinate my seed

i find the paper towel the the most foolproof, take a paper towel and get it wet, not dripping but pretty moist, fold it up to a small rectangle and put your seeds in, then fold it over them, put them in a plastic baggie(keeps paper from drying out) and check every 24 hours, they should be in a dark slightly warm place, just be carefull, better to have them cold then too hot, even a little too warm like on top of some computer monitors can kill the seeds very easily. I always germ cold, ive killed too many seeds trying to speed things up with warmth.

2-3 inches is way too much, no offfense i bury mine at like 1/2 inch to 1 inch at most. and i germinate my seeds by putting them in distilled water and they pop. keep them in the dark if you do this. i dont like the paper towel method as much because if you forget about the seed you have to worry about it growing into the paper towel, which sometimes can be bad

the tap root is whats gonna comeout of the seed bury it with the taproot going downwards i nch deep
