So this is my first grow, and I'm using bag seed. The front-running plants (planted a little earlier) are numbers 1 through 4.
#1 sprouted, grew two weed-looking leaves (terminology is always helpful!), then its first sets of 3-finger leaves, then jumped right into making 7-finger sets.
#'s 2 and 4 (3 is being held back by an early injury) however, went from 3-finger sets to 5, and are still making 5's.
As a new grower, I'm trying to learn everything I can, and I was pointed toward this board by member Statik. What can I learn from this growth behavior in #1 and in its siblings? Does going from 3 to 7 mean anything versus 3 to 5? Possible reasons I've imagined were: #1 is in a bigger pot; different strains from the same bag; early sex indication?
Let me know what you know, folks
