I will be using Big Bud for flowering, should I be using other nutes as well? I'm asking this cos the N-p-k is 0-1-3 and that seems fairly low compared to the nutes I see people using on here.

yes advance nutes are really good and if you dont have the money for sensi bloom than maybe try there bud candy with your big bud but me personaly dont like to use the older ways of nutes like fox farms or gh but then again this is just me and not tring to stear you away from what is working for you they are good nutes but just would go for a more up to date formula... good luck with everything and if you just cant scrape the money for the additives then dont worry to much your base nutes will be fine...
Thanks guys, I just want to know something cheap-ish I can use with my Big Bud? I'm from the UK so FF is outta the question cos it's just way too damn expensive as it's imported..
molassess and big bud will work then? This is my first grow and I don't expect it to be perfect and I'm not expecting 4oz a plant - I'll be happy with what I get but I would like to know how to get my plant to the end

Yes, you need to start out with a good base nute, not just Big Bud.
I would say that you should start with Grow-Micro-Bloom from AN since that's a pretty reasonable way to begin. And you can change up the concentrations as you see fit. Then you can add in Big Bud and Bud Candy as you like.
If you go to the AN site, then you can find out more about how to mix up the nutes the way they recommend:
