QUESTION: Nutrients To Purchase When Doing D.W.C.

Hello All, much like the title says, I've searched around the forums abit gathering info on DWC systems. I am currently getting a list togther of stuff i need. Im wondering what Nutrient Solutions I should buy to add to my water? And if there is more than one (which im thinking is obvious :joint::o) feel free, if you want, to list them all. get a basic liquid nute from hydro store get a veg and a bloom and maybe cal mag..you might get 2 or 3 part bloom and veg formulas where their are seprate bottles you can get as complicated and expensive as you want my advice would be to keep it simple and i think youll be happy. maybe try general hydroponics veg and bloom i think its old and basic..its not what i use but im starting to rethink that and my more is better aproatch

I grow tomatoes and peppers with General Hydroponics. the flora series is a 3 stage kit and has served me well.

I recently harvested using Lucas Formula in DWC. I wanted an easy, no fuss, no mess nute solution that's the same all the way through both veg and flower. I use the micro for hardwater with municipal tap water, so I don't even have to adjust for pH... just checked it the first few times, it's pre-buffered and always spot on so I don't even check pH anymore. I am very happy with the results.

this is what i use and have had awesome results.

A good nute product is one of the best investments you can make. The top ones include Advanced, GH, Fox Farms and Humboldt. I use Humboldt Master A&B and am very happy. My philosophy is if you trust your nute company then follow their feeding schedule. if you don't trust them find one you do.

Thanks For All This Help Guys. Just one more question ; If i went with General Hydroponics Flora Kit 3 Part

What are some steps on mixing those with a gallon of purifued water purchased at walmart???

Edit: Also, would it be better if i got general hydroponics organice fertilizers, or should i stick with flora?(if theres a difference.)

I cant say on if these are better or worse than any other but i have had good experience with these nutrients.

I use a syringe with no needle, like one for kids. Its marked in ML's, just rinse it before sticking it into the next bottle. I have used this method with much success in growing tomatoes and peppers.

You have three stages which should never be mixed directly without water. this would cause nutrient lockout.

One at a time draw up 2.5 mls or CC's and add it to the gallon jug. Do this with all three. This is a seedling mix. 440 ppm or .88 EC is the strength.

do you have a ec or tds meter? It makes using the nutrients so much easier.
