Can you remove every side branches etc except the main cola and get one huge main cola bud? I'd assume all the energy from the light and and what not would go on that main cola and make the fatest bud ever recorded to man kind at year 2017!!!?

It's called lollipoping and your yield will be horrible. Grow thirty plants like that then you'll have a nice yield.

Not to mention you'll be removing a majority of the foliage the plant needs to fuel giant nugs.

Agree with Lachrymology. I've seen guys kill their yield by snipping their plants too much. Just let them grow and they will! Stop harassing them.

I've read something that back in the old days, old-timers used this technique called Spearing which shouldn't be confused with SOG. I guess they just differ from each other in terms of veg time but pretty much the same when it comes to pruning lateral branches.

Try researching for Single Cola grow :peace:

Its actually called sog, or sea of green, you grow a carpet of single cola plants so that every inch of space is used. Amazing yeilds per area, but less yeild per plant

(30 one gallon pots instead of [6] 5 gallon pots)
