Question for the Blueberry Experts Here

Hey all, I just harvested a PeakSeedsBC Blueberry plant. It's one of three females I had growing.
It's been in flower for a very long time and has quite a bit of amber on the pistils. The buds are big, fat hard and heavy.

When I say a long time, I mean around 13 weeks of 12/12. Everything on this plant looks great now, except that it keeps growing new, white pistils. It took this long to get a good amount of amber on the trichomes. My other BB plant that's in my room, a magnificent looking one, is the same, except I didn't harvest it.

I thought, screw it, I'll chop one and leave one and just see what happens ... and how they compare in effect later on.
For some reason, these BB plants just keep putting out new pistil growth. Have you had this experience? How did you handle it?

It's foxtailing maybe.

My blueberry auto did the same. I let it run for 14 weeks.

Then I was concerned about THC degrading. I had about 40% amber though below the new pistils so I chopped it.

I still question if I did the right thing.

I am a newb, however I asked a similar question of a well informed long time grower and he told me when the flowers are ripe and done then will continue to start pushing new pistils, and that you had to ignore those new ones that come late, as they are not the indicator. I just have't bothered to google yet if this is noted elsewhere.

If you wait long enough no new pistil will show, if you wait and that dosent happen it's foxtailing.
