Question for seasoned smokers...

To all the seasoned smokers out there, what is a strain that you grew that really caught you off guard?

One that makes you say, "whoa, that is some really strong stuff." And you either got really high or really knockout stoned.

I know my description isn't super accurate lol.

I have only been smoking for about a year and so of course anything I grow already knocks me out, so it is harder for me to tell, if that makes sense?

Anyways thanks in advance to anyone who posts And if you do post, how many years have you been smoking?

Haven't had anything "put me over" in about a decade now, anything with a decent genetic line can make you take notice... But i have 16-17 years of getting used to it, and by that point you know what your preference is and then you just maintain that level all the time.

Nevilles haze, Vortex, Brainstorm haze, JTR, Somango, pandora's box all impress me with their potency. they also have a good period of time before i got used to them and had to up my dosages.

been smokin' over a decade... 13 years to be precise.

Haven't 'power laughed' for.... I don't even know how many years, but good honey oil will still give me a head rush. Eating pot still gets me body stoned if I eat enough of it....


The last strains I had that were real 'whompers' were;

Jack Herer

icecream killed me the first time after i grew it. this one makes you break out while trimming and sneeze like crazy.

Headband did it for me

fast neville's did it for me... and it was a freebie... I cant imagine what real neville's haze is like.. I assume when they crossed the neville's with the ICE to reduce grow time they must have lost something from the original neville's buzz.. but what they were able to keep still knocked me around pretty good.. definitely caught me off guard...

Smoked some "jack herer" that was very very good, but not sure if was real or just someone playing off the name with some nice bud.. had only a g or two as a gift...

Barneys Farm LSD, I fucking love the pheno I got. All head high, virtually no couch lock and it doesn't give me the munchies that bad. Also Nirvana Super Skunk (I know there are nirvana haters) but the shit hit me like a ton of bricks and smelled like blueberries.

after 15 years nothing knocks me out.

still cant go wrong with winners like Sour Diesel and OGKush - if u wanna take a ride in the way back machine, check out Black Widow by Mr Nice.

woooo hoooooo... I have two very different phenos going right now... a month or so into flower, smell coming out nice and the buds look just the advertised pics by barney's... long white hairs and tons of em.. cant wait to compare the two types..

45 years exp. (you probaly figured out i'm an old fuck) i found Barney's lsd to be good but needs to flower for 80+ days. Haven't had an uncontrollable giggle in way too long. Also found G-13's pineapple express to be a good buzz.

This is good to hear. I got a free PE from the tude but my flowering plants are only two weeks in. I am excited to see how it turns out. This strain is very easy to clone.

Smoked this in the mid '90s. Bud itself was sort of clay-colored and had an interesting smell but otherwise didn't look that interesting.

But one ordinary sized joint totally couchlocked me and my heavy stoner friend, while my brother literally passed out.

Wish I knew where to get seeds!

Panama Red in 1977.............me and 4 other guys smoked an 1/8th out of a "pump" bong. that is the highest i have ever been.

Swiss Cheese laid EVERY one of my buddies out cold! A couple tokes off of my vaporizer and sweet dreams!!!
