Question for an indoor vet grower

I am growing two plants right now. I dont have pics up yet but will get them shortly. I have had no problems with them so far. They are about 11 weeks old from seed. When should I expect them to go into budding? They are bag seed plants but they turned out so beautiful. I have them under 2 4ft fluorescents, two 23w cfls, 1 13w cfl, two 18in fluorescents and one 70w metal halide. One is sativa and the other indica. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you need any more info just let me know. Hopefully I will have some pics up this afternoon.

Yeah, im having no problems with the plants themselves. The only problem I have is not knowing when they will bud. Does that not make since to you?

Don't listen to him ^^ he only has 4 rep bubbles!!!

MJ buds according to photo period. All that means is that it flowers according to the amount of light it gets per day. MJ flowers in the fall as the days get shorter, and that's what triggers flowering. If you don't have your plants in 12/12 (12 hours lights on, 12 hours lights off) then they will veg forever (unless they are some kind of autoflower, then it doesn't matter, it would flower according to time, not the light periods.)

So if you want to flower, you have to change the light schedule:peace:

(just kiddin' by the way Grizz is good shit just teasing him)

I just love how some people have to try and make somebody look stupid but in turn make themselves look stupid. Did I not make myself clear that I am looking for an answer on when they will bud. I didnt say there was something wrong with my plants.

If you're asking when they'll bud you don't really have license to call someone stupid. That information is splattered everywhere on this forum son. Do some reading and don't waste my time.

Ok, I have had them on the 16/8 schedule. Your saying I should go ahead and switch to the 12/12 or should I wait and switch later?

Does that not make SENSE to me? I SENSE some attitude SINCE my response. You don't need a vet grower to answer that question young man, you need to read the FAQs. Your plants will bud when you tell them to bud and I don't feel like re-typing out the thread you should read anyway. Thats my two CENTS.
Look man, im just asking someone who wants to help me out. If you just want to try and make me look stupid then I dont want you two cents.

Haha, cowell man you gotta teach me your zen routine or something. Maybe I've been poking around NC too much recently, I dunno. How long do you think before this cat starts teaching people like he's a grandmaster grower? His join date is june so I'd say pretty soon!

My first response wasn't snippy or rude man, the budding question is in multiple FAQs and if you've done your reading you'd know already EASILY. I don't know what your fucking problem is and I don't really care. The attitude you've got going on isn't going to help you along very well, maybe relax a little more?

ya, 16/8 is still a veg lighting schedule.. you want to go 12/12 for flower... within a few weeks you will see all the lovely hairs popping and buds start to form.

Im not trying to get an attitude man, I just hate when somebody gets on a thread and starts typing smart ass things. Like the grandmaster grower. Now your just trying to be funny. I am looking for help, not trying to bitch back and forth like a fifth grader. No I didnt read the faq. I am new to this so I dont know my way around that good.

Well they wont be done at the same time thats for sure, 11 weeks of veg should mean that they are pretty tall plants, so Flowering at 1 or 2 ft tall is best because it will get another 2 ft during flowering some get 3 or 4 ft taller.
yup and 12/12 the lights and you'll see in 2 weeks they will start to flower 3 more weeks they'll start forming buds, and 3 more weeks the Indica should be ready and 3 more weeks after that, the Sativa should be ready. they take long to mature.
