no sugar dude...molasses though yes. the plant has to breakdown whatever you feed it into a useable form, and sugar directly cannot be broken down into something the plant can use. molasses wont fatten up your nuggs though it will help the overall health of the plant. molasses is more of a microbial feed for your soil.

Dont sweat it. Some people are just miserable. I found it to be a great question. You dont know until you ask and that is what the site is for.

well geturgrowin i use liquid honey from 5th week till there done approx teaspoon per 20 litres in soil grows some people know me on this site and with amount of pics i have shown i can grow :)) all i can say to others is dont knock it till you try it
as for sugar i wouldnt use it
i will continue to to use liquid honey in all my future grows
alot of people like to use molasses they say its to help micro organisms you know but in reality most soil is peat based meaning there litterally no microorganisms in it to begin with so in reality molasses is used to treat def in your plant honey has tons of carbs which plants in flower mode NEEED as well as tons of critical elements also to help def

most growers dont realize that for the length of time you plant was in veg and in flower your soil would still be good for another 3 grows before you would really need to help it with micro organisms

all molasses does is feed the soil. It doesn't make your plant get bigger buds, it gives the micro organisms in the soil a boost in food, which makes them reproduce. they in turn help feed your roots, which helps feed your plant. if you want to feed your plant, give it some nute bloom, if you want to feed your soil, give it some molasses.

B/c there are so many dumb questions, I use it to amuse myself at times. I also feel that if some here would spend more time doing their own research, it would save many new growers time, $$, and headaches. I have no problem answering dumb questions, but when you advise people to use MG soil etc without a clue...then the result will always be more confusion.

In answer to your question, plants do not uptake carbs as we do. Your best friend for maximum yield is always a balanced medium. Refined sugar has zero nutritional value to humans, molasses does. I use 1 tbsp/gal of water every other watering throughout organic soil grows.
