Question about urinalysis substitution

Hey all, my first post. Yay! Anyways, the question I have is does adding a little hot tap water to a clean sample of urine throw off the Ph or specific gravity too much and give a dilluted result? My temp was ok and stuff, but it looked a little clear, and now I'm nervous as hell, thinking I shouldn't have added the water. Am I worrying over nothing or did I make a huge mistake?

I added a little warm tap water to bring the temperature up, but I didn't add that much. I'd say a 2/8 ratio of parts water/parts urine.

I have looked around on the web, but I can't find anyone in a similiar situation. I'm hoping it's not an issue, but I won't know until some time later today if I get the call from the lab. Anyone know what might happen in a situation like that?

Yeah..that wasn't a good idea...your test is probably going to come back as "dilluted" now. Was it for a job or probation?

Yea, when you take a test and it has to go to a lab then they can test for things like creatine, or system cleaners. Also they can check to see if your urine was diluted as well. The lab will probally call you saying you have to re-take it do to the fact that it was diluted. Or they can call it an administrative positive which is where since the sample was fucked up, they test you positive for eveything they were testing for.

cuold come back 1 of 2 things,either tamperedor result or insufficient results,ones a violation and the other is a violation if it for pro,or parole,u might just be scewed,but if its for a job yeah,ur problyb still screwed,so might aswell go smoke another!!!!!!

OK so you might get lucky and it will come back as dilluted or inconclusive...since it is for a job they might give you another chance. Got any friends that are clean? If so get them to piss in a cup for you, pour it into a rubber glove (powder free), tape that shit to your leg about 2 hours before you go, then when you get there cut one of the fingers off the glove and there you go

I have a whizzinator that I've used a few times successfully, this time I decided to add water like a dumbass to my son's urine, not thinking there was enough and the temperature would stay up longer. Don't listen to them!! Water is always part of urine if you can see any color at all you are good. I've passed many D.O.T. which uses tests looking for blockers they also check the tempature must be at 96 to 102 degrees.
THE KEY is to use CLEAN urine if you need tempature correct use a thermos use a BIG ballon clean your hands pour in pee fill ballon you need 50 to 75CC
then put in thermos with HOT water 20 minute keep till you need it. Keep it there till you go for test keep in private place on you, boys uses your balls girls I bet you can figure it out! keep it warm I past tests all the time uses this method. Carry a clean plastic bag and something to cut open the ballon (I use my watch pocket on my jeans for the bag and liitle knife) carry out your trash!! Clean everything little soap LOT'S of water leave NO trace evidence. GOOD LUCK and remember unless you know they have past don't listen to them I PASSED EVERY F@#*ING time LATER

He added the water DIRECTLY to the urine. That dillutes it waaay too much..it can be detected. He also had a whizzinator which straps to your leg, very clean and simple, and keeps it to your body temp, if strapped in place long enough.

Hell, for jobs Ive always used Suregel. For those who dont know what Suregel is, its the stuff your gramma, great gramma, or even your mom use to can their own jams and jellies. Take 1 package and mix into 32 oz. of (WARM) water, constantly stiring and make sure you piss before you drink it, you have to keep stiring b-cuz it will settle in bottom of your container, and drink at least 1 hr. before piss test. This works because I was STONED and geeked out and passed my piss test for my job.
