Question about Trichomes. Please help.

Well tomorrow is D-Day. I will be trimming 2 Afghani#1 and 2 top44, th Afghani is fantastic, great grow, lots and lots of crystally buds.
The top44 however had a funny growth pattern. Loads of leaves, too many for the buds to get enough light. And although they seem to be producing a fair amount the buds just arent very crystally at all. There is a few but not half a noticable as the Afghani or any other strain I have grown.
I was just wondering if there should be an abundance of crystals, or are there strains that just dont produce as many as others. I know there are white strains etc but is this normal for Top44 or any other strains you may have grown?? I know they are not as potent anyway I just had some seeds lying around and wanted to see how they faired out. Plus rep for any good info you have to offer. Thanks. Dan

I have noticed that different strains do produce different amounts of crystals, although I don't know about those particular strains. You should cut a few leaves away next grow to give your buds more light.

I have done already, but alas not in time enough. plants getting the chop tomorrow at lights on. Suppose well just have to wait for the smoke. Might be nice to have a mild hitter. Well see.
