Im thinking about ordering some seeds from nirvana for my first grow but I got a question. :? Will the seeds that come off my plant that I grow be the same quality as the ones I order?

Im not sure how my first grow will be but I don't wanna spend $35 on seeds and have to order some more for my next grow. Thanks for your help guys :hump:

I don't agree with this guy. They shouldn't be better, but they can be just as good. And making fem seeds is not as easy as people like to claim. It takes a lot more breeding knowledge than that; most likely you'd end up with hermie seeds if you tried it.

To make seeds you would want a very separate growing room to put a female and a male in to get seeds- you don't want the males openly pollinating all your females- having thousands of seeds but only shitty bud is not worth it.

What you really should look into is cloning. It's a much better method than making your own seeds. It doesn't involve making seeds, you would no longer have to worry about males, and it's a quicker perpetual grow system.

I was just wondering because I was gonna wait till my next grow to make sure I dont mess something up and get crappy bud and didnt want that to lead to crappy seeds.

But I was planning on just using the seeds I find in my bud...shouldent there be atleast some to grow with?

If you have some seeds in your bud then yea, give that a shot for a first grow. You risk getting hermies, but that's always a risk...so who knows? I'd definitely go for it. As long as the seeds are brown/dark colored (not white) then they're mature and should work just fine.

Then for your second grow you can get some Nirvana seeds or any other brand, and from there I would keep a mother plant and clone if you can.

Thats the point some of the people that fail to realize when giving advice here. Some people cant do clones. Seeds work better for some. Does any one want to argue which way is best, I hope not? I cant clone, seeds are my only option, one crop at a time.

kudos for making that statement.
