Question about Rootbound babies

Okay, say your babies are rootbound in their cups, can they stay like that thru the entire process , but just stay small or will it hurt it and kill it

They will grow slowly and stay small but only if they have enough oxygen getting to the roots.
If you don't have enough perlite in the soil they can get pretty poor.
Use oxygenated water and a nute thats high in boron.
Boron makes oxygen and helps root bound plants
