question about pruning

Just wondering when pruning should u take the leaf only or a few inches back I'm not talking cloning just cleaning them up

I only remove the leaves at the bottom of the plant that are not getting any light. If a leaf is blocking a bud, then I just tuck the leaf out of the way.

Oh I know lol I just wanted opinions lol cuz I know some people won't even clone or top others will take almost all of um
