Question about nutes

My 30day old plant is five days into flowering (no sign of gender yet) and I'm wondering how often I should feed it. I've got 5-10-10 nutes and on the bottle it says to feed every 3 1/2 weeks. Is this right or should I feed it more often? I gave it its first feeding two days ago via half of the recommend dose and it seemed to have loved it.

Im 5 day's into 12/12 too and im feeding it Fox Farm Tiger Bloom 2-8-4 (1 teaspoon per gallon) every other day with a drop of superthrive and my plant's are very healthy. Start out little and add more every week.

I would not give a flowering plant superthrive.

Thanks for the help. I did two tablespoons of the recommended four so I guess I should feed much less often since I'm giving much more at a time?

BTW, I've been following your grow man.. looks good. :)

No problem. Your not giving it much mroe if your only using two of the recommended four. I would just water every other day with the nutes and if you get any burns reduce it to every 3 days or once a week. If the leaves turn DARK green then that means they are full and if they are light green then they are hungry. If you get an burn flush the plant and make a new batch of nute's with less nutes than you burned the plant with. It's easy just play around with it and youll find out what the plant's like.

Superthrive says on the box it is for flowering and vegitative plant's. I can take a picture of it for you if you like.
Well if i was selling it i would say that too.

I am not the only one that will say no to superthrive when flowering.

Its meant for when the plant is stressed. Transplanting is its #1 use.
I never use it other then that.

Hmm apparently it has many more uses than just for flowering and new plants.

Im sure the scientists that add the vitamins and minerals to the solution don't know what it's good for.
