Heat purge or vac?

You are either over purging it and it is dehydrating the oil. Or you are underpurging. Where overnight tiny bubbles of trapped butane and air are evaporating through the oil from the bottom up. As the bubble escape to the surface, they whip their way through the oil stirring it up and making it budder. (Budder, made by whipping oil)

Try shorter purge using a double boiler and make sure you pop the butane bubbles as they form, then once the oil is bubbleless scrape it up before it dries up.

dont use heat on the purge. just let it set there for 3-5 hours and scrape and it should be good.

when mine dries out i scrape into a pile and hit it with the torch for like .2 seconds.

melts right back into goodness.

I do this sometimes(well I always do around 5-10 min of low heat purge using double boiler) but I will let dry for a couple hours sometimes to make a kind of powder I use on top of bowls.
