Thanx 2 any who take the time to help out with my question.
My girls are almost ready to come out of their 18/6 vegetative room, and move to their 12/12 flowering room.
I've recently purchased a 430 Watt Song Agro HPS lighting system. According to what I can find, I shouldn't put a bulb that hot within 20 inches of the tops. I also bought a hood that allows air to be passed through a chamber surrounding the bulb, allowing the bulb to dissipate heat better.
My question is...
Seeing as how I've got the air-cooled hood, will I now be able to put the lights closer to the tops?
