question about lights [to everyone]

I wouldnt. Use those up to flowering and then go to a 2500-2700k(35ish watt) cfl. You could leave a couple of the veg cfl's in there for extra light.

I would do 4:2. Meaning 4 2700k to two 6500k. You should be good.
so your saying to start off with the x4 42watts for the first #? months? and then use 2x 35watt till the end of harvest? or is it the other way around?

are these considered veg or flowering light?

ok your first concern for a garden is security......and by the sounds of it you dont have that, secondly as far as lights go without bringing led's in to the mix an hps is the most efficent light, 600 watts of hps gives off more light than 600 watts of floro's, people mistakenly think that floros run cooler than hps but watt for watt its simply not true, but shit man if your only going for one plant then why not do a small outdoor crop, i mean if your security is in jeopardy from within the house then your not using your head

This ^^.

HPS will prolly be better for you. Even better as fat sam said, just grow outdoors. Outdoor growing takes less work than indoor growing. I misunderstood that you were lacking security clearance from peers/family. That is the number one thing.

CFL's work better for my conditions that surround me. It is easier for me to control temp, ph and all the mandatory things to growing indoors.

edIT: sorry for the confusion :joint:

Use those for vegging. Then pick up about 4 of the 26-32w 2700k for flowering. While in flowering, use those 2700k's and a few of the 'daylight'(6500k) bulbs along with them.

oh, and I been smoking some extremely fine kush :joint: lol.

so your saying

use 2 of these for vegging?

then

http://www.1000bulbs.com/32-Watt-Compact-Fluorescents/37818/
use 4-6 of these for flowering?

SIDENOTE=
is it ok if i don't use any of the vegging bulbs since they cost more than the flowering ones. and instead just use 4-6 of the 32watt (2700k)(flowering bulbs). and surround the whole plant with 6x 35w (2700k) bulbs? 4 on top. 2 on right and left? or 2 on top and 4 on each corner.????

You can. But the daylight bulbs will be better for it in vegging. I just added another 43 watter today..

I have a total of ~150watts on this one plant..4-26w and one 43w all are daylight(6500k).

I will keep three of the 26w daylight bulbs and ADD 3 maybe 4 26w 2700k during flowering.

how long does it normally take when flowering usually occurs ?

and when flowering does occur....what you think of me just purchasing 2 of these and having those two hit the one plant. ===== http://www.1000bulbs.com/105-Watt-Compact-Fluorescent/40530/

what do you think if i buy 2x 105watt which is 800watt total. and 12400 lumens output total. and these babies would be used for the flowering stage. but which one is the right one to buy? out of all these 105watts? http://www.1000bulbs.com/105-Watt-Compact-Fluorescent/

and how long does it take to get into flowering stage?

you have gotten great advice on lighting, if you use all of these lights for 1-2 plants you will have more than enough to flower with.

so u didnt buy those reflectors did you? i think they would be a waste of money for all the bulbs your using. a sheet of mylar cant cost more than 2 or 3 of those.

what are you growing? regular bagseeds or did you order/pull some good seeds from somewhere? you said your doing hydro? soil and organics are much more forgiving for a first grow than hydro and nutes
