Question about lighting

I have developed my own pc grow box...it has 2 fans..one blowing in and the other out..it has 3 lights at the top and the inside is incilated with the foil stuff you buy for your car window. I have a pot with miracle grow organic soil. I was wondering why my plant doesnt look all that great? is it because im running the lights to often...my lights have been on for 3 days straight now...do I need to change my light cycle to 18/6 until im ready to bud then 12/12 or what? ive noticed the soil is drying up quickly and i have to frequently water is it because of my lighting to long? thanks

Pics please and what temps are in the case, type of lights, pH of the water.

what lights are you using? I AMA hydro type of guy so I am always watering....LOL but I keep my lights on 24/7 tube flours

they are 3 20 watt round lights

Most likly the case is to hot. If you can get a temp reading and a few pics of the plant that would be a real help.

the plant is just a little sprout about 2 inches tall ill get a temp. now

case is about 71 degrees

Well the case temp is fine.

Probably overwatering.

im not going to water it for 2 days and see what happens going to turn the lights back on for the night...not sure what light cycle to go with

Should probably start with 18/6 then go 24/0 after they grow a little.
