question about lighting for autoflowers

Hey everyone. I am thinking of growing 3 autos in a small closet grow. I was curious what would be the better light coverage? I seen a 150watt HPS. I seen a 135watt UFO led. I seen a T5 light. I could just use cheap cfl light bulbs. So what would be best to use for 3 autoflower plants?

yeah a 240w would grow 3 auto flowers just fine. LED are really great for small spaces because they dotn give off nearly as much heat as HPS. Just make sure you get a good quality unit, just because tis expensive dosent make it good, look for units with 3w bulbs or better and a 6 or more band spectrum for flower/veg. The 240w I got from china im very pleased with and it was only 160 bucks, u can check my thread if u want

in my opinion it could handle 4 autos in 3 gallon pots, so yeah should be fine for 3 :) 240 is the minimum id say to use, if u want really good results id go with a 300w unit or supplement with a few CFLS on the sides of the plants during flower

all the lights you've linked look good to me, like I said as long as its 3w bulbs or better and has at least 6 bands in its spectrum then I approve of it. This is the 240w I have, id buy it again if I needed another one http://www.ebay.ca/itm/161089283496?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

ok thank you. I seen you grew autos before. Did you let them grow straight up or did you lst them at all? I am planning on just letting my 3 grow straight out with no Lsting.

I don't use training techniques on autos, some people do. Since autos start flowering when they are mature training techniques can actually result in smaller plants and yields as the plant does not have the extra time in veg photoperiod plants get to adapt to there training
