Question about last week of flower

Hey guys so I'm in week 8 of flowering. My plants still appear very healthy and the leafs still seem to be standing tall torwards the lights. 80%of the leafs are either yellow or purple. My question is do the yellow and purple leafs absorb as much light as the green leafs? Most of the green leafs are near the bottom of the plants. Not gonna remove anything was just curious about it. Thanks.

Harvest by trichomes maturation not leaf color or looks. Gl

High there!
I am also in week 8 and while i really don't know about which leaves absorb more light, I think it is a non-issue at this point.
Hope they get images working soon, would like to see what ya got.
I just have one NL flowering and one vegging.

I'm not concerned about when to harvest cause I listen to the trichs. I was just curious if a healthy purple or yellow leaf absorbed light as well as a green leaf. I too wish the pictures worked cause I'd be uploading some haha

Am relatively new at this so just an educated guess but i think the yellow ones are dying, never seen a purple leaf unless i had pH problems, so i think the green ones are probably the ones doing most of the work... again, i really don't know, am more concerned about fatter buds. lol.

You say the top portion of your plant is changing color and the bottom is healthy still ????


I ask because IME it's the other way around ....

There are yellow or purple leafs all over it just seems the leafs appear greener that have been shadowed that are lower. Damn why can't I upload pics haha.

I guess they work normally as long the leaf its healthy and alive

Oh I see ....personally I like good fade on my plants at the end ....I grow a lot of the same strains for my patients so I have em pretty dialed ....but I run a 20 plant 5 strain garden every year besides my actual gardens it's a great way to find what's good and what's not ....don't get me started on pictures ...I've got quite the line up on stand bye ....GL

Yellow on top of the canopy and green healthy leaves in the shade are normal for me this late in the game.
Mine is the same way.
No worries, wont be long now! :D
