Question about HPS

i recently put my plant in the flowering stage and it is currently under CFL's - i know i need to get the HPS but i wanted to know how many watts because its only one plant and also can i put the HPS bulb into any lamp or do i have to get a certain lamp?

you will have to buy the bulb and the fitting to put it in as well as the ballast to enable it to work, and possibly a reflector... They often come as a kit and you can get all you need with one purchase. 250hps + would be my recommendation

yea that looks alot like mine - the bat wing reflector. i have a 1000watt hps, id recommend atleast 250+watts, a 400watt is really bright

hell yeah.Htg supply is the best retailer i have seen on the web and have done business with them.But if i just have one plant i would go for that 250 hps kit they have for 118$ plus shipping.It comes with the bulb,reflector,timer,ballast,and a free lighter,thats a deal right there.Now i dont know what the hell these other shops are on wanting to sell the the exact same kit for over 250$,do you know what i said "get the F@%ck outta here".

IM REPPIN HTG supply FOR LIFE or until i find better deals, ya feel me.

this runs almost cold no sound.
