Hey so ive read that you should always check trichs to know when your ready to harvest and what not. But how do you know when ur ready to start flushing(two weeks before harvest)? What type of ratio should i be looking for (20% amber 80% milky?) and lets say i start flushing too early? should i just continue flushing till i the right ration of amber to milky trichs appear?

I watch for the time the breeder puts on the seeds and then about two weeks prior I give mine water..Your going to have dumbasses come on here and tell you not to flush but believe me it makes your smoke taste better and cure better on the long run

Regardless of the initial color of the trichomes, with careful observation you should be able to see a change in coloration as maturity levels off. Some cultivators wait for about half of the trichomes to go opaque before harvesting to ensure maximum THC levels in the finished product. However, you will also want to try samples at various stages to see what is best for you. While you may be increasing the total THC level in the cannabis by allowing half of the glands to go opaque, there will also be a larger percentage of CBN, which is why some people choose to harvest earlier while most of the trichomes are still clear

not quite sure what im going to do yet, it seems flushing is stressful for plants? so i might just flush with molasses with for a week instead of my original plan of two weeks. i also have decided that i am probably ready to start flushing some of my plants. Thanks a bunch guys, +repped all you fools
