Question about drying a single bud?

Hey guys...just had a question. My plant is due to harvest in about 5-7 days. I picked a bud off...and am just wondering whats the best way to dry a single bud. Currently what i have set up. I have a small 1 ' x 1' x 1' box...and inside the bud is hanging there...and i can close the box off and seal the bud from the light. I cut slits on 2 sides of the box..and now have a fan pointed at the box. I guess the idea is for the fan to hit one side of the box where the slits are and get some circulation going in there and push out the other side where the slits are. Thats just what i have set up now...i'm open to suggestions!

If you have just one bud and you don't want to dry it the normal way (~7 day dry + cure afterwards) you can use an oven.
Just don't use too high temperatures and make sure you don't over dry your weed

Your own creation you mention sounds like a bit much of a setup for just one bud, but it's a lot better than an oven and will ensure you get a good end product.
But if you go that far you might as well cure it too imho.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah i thought it was a bit much too but the two things i kept hearing is you want it to be in a dark place..and you want air circulation. Ive read about the oven method. Have you used this yourself? Cook time and temperature? Maybe even a microwave will do it? Just dont wanna burn the THC off ya know thats what i worked for you lol.

That is correct. You want a dark drying place and you want good air circulation.
I have used a basic oven to dry samples.
Temperature and time are relative, if you go carefully: 30 degrees Celsius and check regularly to assure you don't over dry.

Microwave is not a good idea since the waves break the THC and can seriously damage the end product.
