Question about coco watering

New to coco. I transplanted my seedlings to a mix of coco/perlite and they are too big for the pots (because I don’t wanna keep transplanting). Should I just water around the plant or should I actually water the entire pot? I’m not sure if with coco and I don’t wanna drown them

Water the entire pot one good time and then wait a day or two until the pot feels light or starts to dry a bit on the surface. You need the coco to be equally moist because the dry outer area will wick the water from the wet inner area pretty quickly. Plus you want your roots to be able to explore as early as possible. Dry coco is like a fence for the roots.

I started dabbling with coco last year with my pheno tent.
I use 3-gal fabric bags and find that they are quite happy with 2-3 liters/ day.
I just water to runoff and they are fine til the next day.
