Question about AK-47 seeds

Ive been really interested in growing an ak-47 along with my super lemon haze this coming fall after the crop i have going on now (low ryder #2)

I checked out the attitude seedbank to pick up some ak-47 seeds from serious seeds

but the price tag is over 100$?!:o
Dont get me wrong, it's completely worth it since ak-47 is one of those legendary unicorn strains.

It wasn't until recently that a friend told me to check out, Joey's Seeds from the hemp depot.

Upon looking at joey's strains, The first thing i noticed was the "ak-47" and since i was still very interested in growing the ak-47, i clicked on it immediately.

When i looked at his description it said that he got the seeds from serious seeds when he was in holland.

This is where i get confused, since the ak-47 is priced at over 100$ from the attitude then why is joey selling it for half the price?

Joey is selling a pack of 10 for $57...:o

So i need your guys opinion.
Is joey's AK-47 legit? (original ak47 from serious seeds) or is it bogus.

And since attitude is such a huge seedbank why arent they lowering the prices for competition. not to mention that joey isnt even listed as a "breeder" on their website

Here are both link, The attitude and Joey's

Joeys:

The Attitude:

If its the real deal..consider myself sold:weed:

thats tough to say. I personally would go with attitude for the simple fact that they have good genetics and good quality (and you pay for it) I havent heard anything from joeys and they could also be good, but you might want to ask yourself if you want to risk 3-4 months of growing over a $50 difference? Id say spend the money and get it from attitude. one other plant to keep in mind is WHITE RUSSIAN its a cross between AK-47 and WHITE WIDOW. Two legendary strains packed into one plant. here is a pic. Either way you go Im sure you will get good bud.

I bought Joey Weeds hybrid of AK-47 and Northern lights a year or so ago. It was righteous weed. I've also grown Serious's AK -47. The straight up AK47 was better. What this says about Joeys AK is pretty much nothin. other than it's darn good.

according to joey, it comes in the same breeder pack

Just buy attitude and get a couple of strains they are a good price and great genetics.
He also has this strain called ak-99 A cross between ak-47 and c99, which supposedly..
produces really good bud..

I dont know..this dillema had me thinking quite a bit.

The reason Joey's AK47 seeds are cheaper is that they're F2 seeds. This means they're not going to be as stable as the AK47 from serious seeds. What I mean by stable is that you'll have 10 seeds and possibly 10 phenotypes. That doesn't mean that you can't isolate a winner, but that takes time and experience.

If you buy from a reputable seed bank and get the true AK47 from serious seeds, It'll be a much more stable strain. This means you'll have less phenotypes (variation) which means it'll be easier to isolate a mom.

In regards to seedbanks, I like SeedsBoutique and I also like the fact that speedyseedz posts on here, though I have no direct experience with speedy.

One thing that had me puzzled is that.. You said the ak-47 from serious seeds are more Stable?...how so?
because joey personally purchased the ak-47 directy from serious seeds..so shouldnt it have its "stable-ness" and carry the same genetics and quality?
after all its still the same seed from its original breeder

So i dont understand how there would be different pheno-types.

As for speedy..i looked at some of his strains..and im very impressed with it..
and the prices are fair... the thing is, not many people (from what i know) has tried speedy... has anyone on this forum tried his products?

because his pictures sure looks awesome.

You'll still get high quality out of F2 beans, but the likelihood of variation is higher. I think the variation exists because the mothers and fathers that serious seeds uses to backcross are inaccessible to seed banks that produce F2 beans. The backcross is critical for strain stabilization. This is just an educated guess as I don't breed on a pro level.

Another guess is that serious seeds has already done the crossing and backcrossing and have isolated a mother and a father to parent the beans they want to pubic to have. I assume clones are taken from each the mother and father, grown, bred, and the resulting seeds are sent out to customers.

This really makes me want to hurl at about what I am gong to say..I bought some Sensi, a 4 pack...never heard of 4 pack, I paid for a 5 seeds, got four and I know that mistakes happen but there seems to be a corporate culture with these people that we do not make mistakes..hey Sensi I rerouted sales in excess of 1000 Euro for myself and friends towards Sweet, Serious, and a very big supprise..Kannibia. Problem is that you have the same corporate culture as American INCs...the hell with admitting mistakes, ect....deny, deny, or refuse to acknowledge. THINK ABOUT IT..you could not get the count right (a simple task), it takes a lot detailed record keeping to manipulate genetics in the proper sequence especially when it comes to looking for that hard hitting genetic mutation....and you were not even willing to admit a mistake to getting the correct amount of beans in the proper container....20$+ a bean and not so much as an acknowledgment, let alone an act that says that this is a rare occurrence, you were active supplier on every orer I sprung..ect. Attitude...at least they seemed sincere when they realized I was not BS'in my way for free beans.(took awhile). Goodbye Sensi, White Label, hello Sweet and Serious:clap: and Kannabia White Dominia. P.S. The feebies with AS always produce viable beans..except Cole Train...dont get me wrong this thing sends out a healthy root and then at the point when it is about .5"...nothing...there has to be a different take on this, any pointers would be appreciated.

My AK47 from serious seeds had some issues actually. All germinated and got 7/11 females, but 3 out of the 7 females wanted to autoflower which makes it impossible to clone. The kicker is that those 3 that autoflowered were super vigorous and had brilliant structures, basically the best in the bunch. I've never had this issue before.
