Dude!!!!!! What in the holy hell is this little gal doing?!?! She’s got wavy leaves and it is crazy. Has anyone experienced this before. It is in a mini dwc till my other plants are harvested. I did some research and people said it’s normal due to vigorously growing, but my question is has anyone else seen this? I have read a billion things about it.
Water temp is 68
Ph is 5.6
Ppm is 280
Using T5 lights that are about 6”ish away
Besides that she seems happy but what a weirdo!!!!66E61993-59DE-4526-96BB-453025F811DB.jpeg

Anything Blueberry genetics is known for this. Very true in my experience with bb strains, early vegetation twist and curl but generally straighten out later.
Do you know the genetics?

No worries ... Sometimes the RUNTY looking ones are the most productive.
It can also show some mutations from time to time. You can get striped leaves ( looks like a skunk ) , pistil heavy strains , poly formed buds , fox tails , 7-9 fingers , asymmetrical growth ( I got a plant that branched ONLY on one side ) , traits from the father , traits from the mother and a whole crap load of pheno traits.

This a candy dream ( blue dream lineage ) hence some blueberry back in the strain line.
And mutated leaves - who cares ? ... As long as it flowers proper !

Beside those are first leaf set ..... Keep it going ! Looking good

Like others have been saying, it's common with blueberry. I had some where the young leaves almost resembled tomato leaves.

As long as she's green, she's good :)

I love blueberry genetics. Good luck!
Thanks! It’s the first time ever growing a blueberry so I’m excited about it. Almost finished with my grow now that is orange fruity pebbles then put this blueberry in tent. I only did one plant this time because I want to play a top game and practice training to see just how many colas I can get on her. From my “so far” experience the ind strains grow a lot bigger when veg a long time so maybe I can get a super bush lol. I want all of the room in my tent to get her crazy.

Sounds like you're having fun :)

You can top several times in veg. Creating a *manifold" is a common method for creating a lot of colas, via topping multiple times. Not sure if you've topped before, but the first few times you do it can be unnerving, as you're chopping your baby in half! But they're resilient, and will keep on growing...after a couple days, that is. Everytime you top you stunt the growth for a couple days, while it recovers. This will add time onto how long you veg for. Fimming is a way to split a branch, without delaying growth. I almost always top, but that's just me.

All strains will grow big, when vegged for a long time. You can have a single plant in a 4x4 tent, filling out an entire scrog screen, and yielding a couple lbs. But the trade-off is that it takes a couple months of veg to do it. If you have multiple plants, the screen is filled up much more quickly.

Yeah I am having a ball with it!!! I have two other sets of different strains going so if this one gets crazy I’m super good... if it goes south then I’m still fine

It's always good to have backups. I'm growing Bonsai Mums, which are really small mother plants around 8" tall, so I always have access to cuttings for cloning. If you don't want to keep mother's, you can continuously root clones. Doing that not only provides backups, but when getting ready to veg again, you already have rooted clones ready to go :)

Yep, mini pot plants :) .Because they're so small, you can keep many strains in a small area, and with less light. Check out my Bonsai Mums thread, and you'll see mine. I'm actually going to be replacing them with new ones from clones, so I can grow them a little more compact. Now that I've gotten some practice with them, I can grow them much more compact than how I've got my current mums.

She finally started straightening out. I am beginning to think it has to do with vigorously growing. This pic is 4 days later..... and she has doubled in size 707867D2-8C55-4CA0-A598-EE90E6877D83.jpeg

Very nice! With DWC, you're going to get some explosive growth! I've seen up to 3" or 4" in a single day with mine!

Your leaves will look much more normal once she grows a couple more shoots.
