Quartz Halogen Lights?

As a Newbe, I need to ask a few simple questions.
1. Will my Quartz Halogen Shop Lights be suitable for growing?
2. After I get buds growing for a few weeks, is there any good reason not to trim the really big leaves that don't have any buds?

No that light will not work.

by cutting off those big leaves you are cutting off your plants main fuel source, and stressing your plant....dont do it.

Think you got your answeres there.Those lights are wrong color and will cook your plants.The big leaves process the light for the buds to make thc so you nee them
