She is looking good. The inter-nodes look pretty tight. She must have been getting all the photons she wanted! Being as you can measure umols, what is she getting at the top of the canopy?

Put a sweetener in the res once and it turned into a swamp and nearly killed the plant. I now do teas and sweeteners poured onto the soil but not enough to drain into the res.

To be honest ive only done hydro and have not come across this sweetener issue. But i also use unsulfered soluble molasses with soluble humix and no clogs from system or anything. I use the bubble flow bucket rdwc. I blend the molasses and the humix with a magic bullet for like 5 min. So guess it might be type of hydro system some people are running?

You're feeding microbes with that carbohydrate. If your system can tolerate them, great! If not then you're going to have serious problems.
