Q: Flip LED light placement and spectrum?

Hi all,

Novice here, longtime patient looking to become medically self sufficient.

I just started my second cab grow (Earth Cab Pro), hydro and LED. How far above the plants should I keep the light? Girls currently in 2nd week of veg, pic taken a few hours ago.

When should I switch to the purple spectrum on the light?

When should I activate / incorporate the 2 small LED strips taped to the back of the cab?

From my limited understanding of led lights the distance from canopy varies based on what light you are using(3w chips, 5w,) and the amount of wattage running, best to check with the mfg.
