pyrethrum scales disaster

So, I'm a first time grower and everything has been going really well...

I have two plants, Jilly-Bean and Jacks Cleaner
I have a 400 watt HPS
My temp runs about 78 because its in a narrow closet but I have pretty good circulation.

I have been flowering for 6-7 weeks and am ready to harvest in a week or two. Right now the bottom leaves have started yellowing and dropping off. I think the Jacks Cleaner has a little over a week before harvest. The Jilly-Bean has at least two weeks left.

Tonight I discovered a number of what a life long green thumb shouted was Pyrethrum Scales all around the stem of the Jacks Cleaner and a little on the Jilly Bean. I wiped down the stems and leaves as much as possible with rubbing alcohol and then sprayed the very base with Earth Options "Rose & Flower insect spray" by Raid.

I also found a few little white moths on the underside of some of the leaves for what ever thats worth.

But, I'm worried, and don't know if I can get rid of them by the time they are ready to chop down. I also don't know about spraying them with the Earth Options so close to Harvest. So, I figured I'd register here and ask the experts. What do you think?

  • Also, if I do nothing think its safe to dry and smoke even with all this stuff?

What is pyrethrum scales in your or the green thumbs opinion?
After all the pesticides you applied I would be cautious of smoking the bottom buds.

Sticky traps for white flies, remove the scale by hand then treat with azamax or similar product a couple times 3 days apart. Start with 1/2 strength.
EDIT: Hell they are flowering..skip the sprays and do the others. Bomb the tent/room after harvest. Wash everything with bleach water.
