Pyrethrum or Permethrin???

I have soil gnats (fungus gnats) buzzing around the tops of some of my plants and the bottom of my grow area. I've tried spraying them with a couple of things but nothing seems to work.

I read that
Pyrethrum is basically one of the best things to use to get rid of most bugs without harming the plants.

I have a dog and I still have some SentryPro (monthly flea/tick treatment) laying around. They come in these little pouches (1.5ml) and the active ingredient in this product is Permethrin which is supposedly man made to be like
Pyrethrum but stronger. This SentryPro has 45% of the stuff in it!

I've already sprayed my grow area and I'm not seeing any more flying around but I don't know how safe this is to actually spray on the soil.

Has anyone tried this or have any ideas on whether it might kill my plants?

wow do not spray your soil with that poison.
you can order it off line or stop in a garden shop..

I use Perma-Guard it is a mix of diatomites and pyrethum.

it will kill damn near all pest and safe for pets too, no need for neurotoxins.

Rule of Thumb (I went there)
If its made by Monsanto or invented by Monsanto do not use it, it will probably kill you.
