D drywall Active Member Jan 5, 2010 #2 you'll be fine just let it dry for a day or two. also if its 1" D or less pipe you only need the glue not the purple stuff.

How, exactly, does the diameter of the pipe relate to the need to clean the pipe and prepare it for the use of adhesive?

olishell Active Member Jan 6, 2010 #6 As long as you let it cure for 24 hours,there will be no problem.As a plumber,let me tell you.Don't skip the primer.
