you guys know you can vaporize with a bowl and a lighter right??? hold the flame away from the bud as to not torch it. takes a bit of figuring out the correct distance but all a vaporizer does is pass hot air over bud, combusting the thc and what ever else depending on the temp. if you dont touch the flame to the buds and just draw hot air, presto, cheap vape. then you can torch it and get the best of both worlds. bowl packs go much longer with the technique as well

and you can keep the "duff" for later use in baking food and other medibles.

And yes its great for cooking with.

I went to vaping simply for the stealth but soon found that I like the high better and it sure smells a lot better.....I bag at home with the extreme q and use a magic flight launch box when out and about. My supplies sure last a lot longer too....when I bag, I use about .25 grams...and get a couple of good bags......with my home grown medicine, 1 bag is by far enough to waste a half day! When I'm at a friend house, sometimes they still break out a bong or water pipe and the stink starts....I noticed just how much herb they waste with their methods ....makes me very glad I vape!

I have been vaping for almost three years now for health reasons. Had a few serious bouts with pneumonia and my lungs cant take the harsh hits from a bong. Anyway I wasnt giving up my weed so I bout a vape. Let me just say that I love it. My step son says that he cant get as high with a vape until i got him totally wasted a few times. Its amazing...you can actually taste what you are smoking and the different strains all have different qualities and flavors now. I have used both bag style and whip and it doesnt make a bit off difference to me..they both work equally well imo. As for inducing sativa or indica type highs, well it all depends on temperature. Kind of like trich color has to do with different highs. the cannabinoids vaporize at slightly different temps, so depending on which you are smoking at, will induce a slightly different high. usually the first two hits from a vape give you the true flavor of the weed. The rest tend to taste like popcorn to me. Thats my two cents..It is a wicked clean high. I find ot better in everyway only because my lungs dont feel so fragged out after ripping the vape a bit. Oh almost forgot..I use way less weed using a vape.

The herbalaire is great for heavy users because you can jam a whole gram into the crucible without grinding it at all and fill like 20 bags or 5 turkey bags from one fill. The way its constructed allows it to vary the temp and force air through the whole knot of herb to effectivly use all the vapor goodness that nug had to offer.

not to mention it only runs $250.00

The iolite is the best portable vape. it runs like $190.00

I'm a long time smoker, and i switched to a vape about 3 years ago. Personally, i went with the Volcano, which works great, and is my personal favorite. There are many worthy vaporizers on the market, though. The benefits of vaporizing are so numerous, i'll probably not even be able to remember them all, but i'll try to list them

Vaporizer over smoke benefits:

1. Better for your lungs.
2. You get sick less often
3. You use less herb
4. You get WAY higher!
5. It tastes delicious.
6. People love coming over with their good herb, cause they wanna try it out, Volcano style.
7. The smell of vapor is less intense, and will not waft down a hall, like herb smoke. Great for being discreet.
8. Your breath and body dont smell like weed after vaporizing. Great in case you have a contact with a police officer.
9. There is no ashy cashed last nasty hit, like with a bowl, or bong. Every hit is a green, delicious hit.
10. No "Suck through" like when a loose piece of herb sucks through the hole on a bowl.
11. The high LASTS LONGER! This is a great advantage for an active stoner. You can get high, and leave the house, and not bring any herb with you, which is safer in the land of cops.

I'm sure i'll remember more later. I'm SO GLAD i switched to vaping! I love it, and wish they had these things years ago. I wish i could have been doing this all along. Seriously, get a vape, it will change your life for the better.

Bagging using a vape with a built in fan which can attach to a bag....fills it with vapors which then can be inhaled from the bag with absolutely NO burn...only the taste of the herb....a whip is a mouth piece w/ tubing which attaches to the bowl of herb which can be used manually (sucking) or by turning on the fan to get shotgunned!

The Volcano is reportedly the best (but wiht the price tag ) but the Arizer Extreme Q and Herbalair are close cousins.

I went with the extreme q with my last vape purchase. (like the one in the pic above)....Great vape....and it's remote controlled if you wish....bags quickly, shotguns with the whip too. I've had several vaporizers and the EX Q is definitely a good one and doubles as a poppourri heater. Got mine at amazon...225 but they can be found cheaper elsewhere I think....1 bag and I'm blazed AND medicated...with my herbs, a second bag is simply a waste unless you want to wander around wasted. LOL ... BTW.... I use the herb to treat spasms from MS and use my own grow....As the above poster pointed out, correct harvesting determines what kind of high one achieves....I keep curing jars marked with strains and age.....and I love opening my med drawer and thumbing through the little jars.....choices choices......as a matter of fact...my med drawer is beaconing me...........

for me vaping has been a pleasant surprise.
I bought Dabudah and it rocks the hizzy, then I bought the Iolite and this thing is sick for stealth.
While I love smoking, just a J a day and two on weekends was starting to harsh my throat and causing me to cough at night etc. Vaping reduced that 95%, an added plus the wife has zero problem with me vaping the Iolite while couch surfing. I have to smoke outside due to the smell. It's all but non existant with the vape.

Oh yeah, the side benefit of vaping for me has been the reduction of throat and sinus problems......and I must be stealthy as I MUST visit family who'd frown.....the smell you'd get with vaping depends on how far you "run tha herb"....and temps used during ...... kinda smells like burnt popcorn a bit....personally I don't run mine that far as I have a plentiful supply of fresh so I pour mine out before the "burn".....GF (who doesn't toke much) says it's just a sweet smell kinda......I use the Magic Flight Launch Box ($99) as my "tote around" which is very efffective as a personal stealthy "launch" tool.....heard good things about the idolite....just more bucks.....whatever you get in the ways of vaping will affect a lot of things aroudn you etc....ENJOY!

I have the Extreme Q. I like it BUT i lost my Ballon Part so i have to order replacement parts But the only thing i dont like about Vaping is the taste. Weed is so much tastier out of a Joint/Blunt I am Newly Stricting Joint and Vape smoker so ill let you know how that goes

I agree with better taste out of joint or bong for sure. I would also add that it takes me about half the herb to get backed by vaping vs joints.

I can't imagine weed tasting better by joint or blunt....I've been tokin' since 1970 and so glad to see the combustion days are well over. Vapes are by far the best taste I've experienced.....But this isn't about OUR preferences...it's about advising princess about vaporizers.

Since im starting to let worrying about my lungs affect my high im gettn one for sure.lol. Just want the best one. Money is not a problem. I just dont know about them. Havent even seen one in person. So far everyone has had mixed opinions on which one is best.Im thinking volcano. Opinions????????????
