what would make your plants stems turn purple during vegi growth stage. i know that one of my seeds was purple kong, but what makes it purple?is it a nutrient def? light maybe?

purple is a very common color in cannabis. some strains almost always go purple, others will purple in low temps.

im sorry, i just re-read your post and saw that i overlooked the fact that you were specifically asking about pupling of the stem. anyways, it is still common, and could be completely normal, but there is a condition (believe it is nute related) that has something to do with purple/red stems. post a pic, im sure someone will be able to help you out.
