These 2 plants were started at the same time 5 weeks ago.
My recent first grow had decent success with OG Kush n Cheese. The only issues I had with them was that I put them into flower too soon.
I decided to try out Purple Wreck, since it sounds like a hella nice smoke. This strain is not going as well as the last grow.
I'm using the same soil as before. Pic below. I added 4 extra cfl's above the plants. I have 4x40 and 4x23 (6500K) above them about 8" , and 2 banks of 4x23 (2700k) on the sides about 7" from them. I water them when the top 2" is almost dry with neutral water. The soil claims to be self pH'ing. I just started a humidifier in the room, as the humidity is around 20%. I don't know if that is a factor. I don't know if the 2700K lights are a problem in veg either. I want to add more 6500, but money is an issue.
After the first week the girls started going light green and then started going yellow. I have been looking at the charts for sick plants and deficiency's, but nothing seemed to nail what might be the issue. The closest thing seemed to be an N deficiency, but since the plants are potted in all new soil, I thought they wouldn't need nutes added until 2 months into veg ?
2 weeks ago I mixed a bit of epsom salts, molasses and H202, then foliar sprayed several times. They did green up somewhat, but are still lighter green than I think they should be? They are also IMO smaller and "compact" more than they should be for 5 weeks of veg.
I'm out of ideas how to save my girls.
I pray some of you who view this post have been there and know how to deal with this. I watered them 3 days ago, so if you advise a flush, is it too soon for that?
