Purple Widow - First Grow!

High! :bigjoint:
This is my first-grow journal, feel free to comment/reply/rate/tip.. anything.

So I got some purple widow seeds, a quite new strain apparently. I planted 4 and fully germinated all of them (lucky me?). I am using distilled water for germination and nutes(when they will be 2 weeks old or so) and mineral water for every other watering.

The first pic is at day one, when I started germinating.
The second pic, I took today, and they are 7 days old.

You can clearly see that one of them is very young, it was stressed a little because of heat problems I had. Its all good now and I expect a great boost in their growth! :weed:

Looking good so far! Remember to keep the heat up in the soil for seedlings and lots of humidity. This will combat the stretching. Where did you obtain your genetics?

Sounds delicious, good luck!

Hell no ur not scoping my girls! ohh u meant the plants, yaaa... they aren't feminized

My babies will be 2 weeks old tomorrow, pics to come!! :leaf:

My babies are two weeks old and I got some sick pictures right here :bigjoint:
I'm not using any nutes just yet. I want to start 7-3-7 @ 25%.
The lights at the sides are 4X30W 6500K, and the middle are 2X55W 2700K & 1X80W 4100K. I added a dark picture so you can clearly see the spectrums. I got shit loads of 2700K's as well, I will use for bloom. You can also see my basil there... good stuff! ;-)

The 4th pic is that small plant from my 1 week pictures, look how much it grew!!

3 Weeks old! Damn I wish I had a birthday every week... My babies have grown so much this week! Two of them were just getting too tall so I hooked 'em down. You can also notice a bit of nute burn on some of the pics, I thought they were mature enough for 50%, seems like they weren't.

I will switch to bloom cycle in a week! ;-)

I changed my mind on the Low-stress-training. They are too short and bushy to handle.

Oh and on the last pic you can see a fan leaf with 4 blades! Seriously wtf?! XD

I got rid of a male today.(let my dog eat it:weed:) Apparently my timer broke tonight which gave my plants a very long night, resulting in pollen sacks showing on one of my plants.
Here are pics:

4 weeks old. A couple of days into flowering.

I am so confused now.. I don't know which one is male or female, 2 of them grew kind of weird pollen sacks which are hairy.. No idea what to even think about those. I'l take closeup pictures in a couple of days, when they flower more.

If I get 4/4 males ... :/ I'l just keep flowering them, because I can't believe nature will not do anything about it. They might grow bud or something...

Great looking plants for a month, fat fan leaves. I just got a few purple widow seeds and widow skunk, in the process of germin some now.
Tell me, how do these do indoors coz it says outdoor plant on the pack although i've successfully grown a haze indoors with no problems.
I'm still a newb and this will be my second grow alongside original afghani and dieselryder

Purp widows are great everywhere! You just need to be careful with the height, if you don't have enough space, they triple their height on the first week of flowering!
Damn, haze... If you grew that, this will be a walk in the park for you. Expect delicious smell ;P

That's great, thanks for the advise.
The haze was really easy to grow and I managed to keep them reasonable short, I havn't harvested the haze yet, or the cheese, but i'm 3 weeks away. My tallest plant is only 16 inches with loads of buds and sites so i think i'll be able to manage the height.
My space is 2meters tall anyway so i got more than enought space and i'd love to grow a 5foot plant this time without cfl's keeping my plants short and bushy, that's why I'm gonna do them straight 12/12. So they stretch during dark periods;-)
im gonna be following this thread to see how you get on, wish you the best of luck
