Hi guys,

I want to grow a purple strain, im thinking about "Purple Star" from Dutch Passion. I want to grow something very different, have grown WW, AK, DP, BB, Skunk. Im looking at "Purple Star" because of the dark purple colour. Has anyone grown it? Is it a good choice? :bigjoint:

Be very careful, i have grown 3 different purps. I would urge you to work for a more stable breed, color is one thing, most of the purple strains lack higher levels of THC.
Thus if you opt to go this way make sure you understand color can be purple but quality can be less than desireable.

Got 3 purple #1 seedlings that are doing fantastic under my 400 MH. After I bought the seeds I did some research and found out that purple#1 sucks. One author said it was a barely noticable high.

Ive heard the best purples are purple pineberry and purple wreak. I think theyre both available from dr.chronic.

it says when u buy it that it has 17 to 20% thc which is above average purple star is a 100% indica yes purple strains that are a mix of sativa and indica dont have as much thc as other plants but this excludes purple star ive grown this strain for years now and among my customers its one of my best selling strains, so whatever.... each to there own i suppose
