Purple pollen sacs?

Has anybody seen purple pollen sacs on males before ? I cant find much of anything about it and someone said that means it gonna herm on me ? Is this true or a genetic trait

I've been experimenting with some genetics and pheno hunting i kno exactly who ima gonna breed him with I just want his sacs to get a little bigger

The last time I collected pollen I cut his balls off and collected the pollen then...does anybody have any better ways of collecting pollen he's done busted open 3 sacks

I only made seeds one time about 10 years ago. We took paper plates. Cut a 1/2 hole in the middle than made a slit to the outside so we could slide the plate on the plant. Cut all the leaves that were under the seed pods so the pollen would fall freely. Then gave the plant a light shake. Scraped the pollen up with a credit card and put in a baggie. Easy enough.

I thought of doin that I wish ther was like a dome I could put over them so I dont have to remove them so soon ill have to do it asap tho

Genetics. I've had males with purple sacs. There is some purple in the genetics. If a plant has purple female flowers then the males should be purple as well.

Here is a Frisian Duck female clone I reversed. It's a very purple strain. The sacs were purple. Yeah it's fried to hell but it didn't want to flip so I had to keep spraying the STS and I bumped it up. I still got my pollen though and made some crosses.
