im curious about your mixture too, im pretty impressed with my ghetto mg soil with tons of perlite, its workin really nice so far minus the few gnats here n there lmao
I've read that you can bake your soil in an oven before using it to help get rid of unwanteds. I've never tried it because it also read it can stink up your house when you bake it.

no just kidding. But i'll tell you a true story.

I don't see my landlord for 5 freaking years then suddenly he rings up wanting to paint kitchen window stills. It would be against hope to think he would not notice the grow room taped to the back of the fridge so i spent the whole weekend stashing it behind my computer. See picture attached.

my new grow room.jpg

P.S. Microwave popcorn helps throw off the smell (and pj's don't smell much anyway).

Well boys and girls i bring you my fat little lady at 7 weeks. She is nice and thick and covered in buds. The swelling is slowing down and i am seeing more and more pepsi colored trics. Its kinda sad that she is coming to an end. But the fun is about to begin.

So enjoy

She looks great! Good news to report myself. My first pj is a girl! Saw the first little hair poking out today. It's amazing how compact the nodes are. It's on it's 6th set of leaves now, and is still under 4 inches tall! Going to repot her one last time into a 5 gal bucket. She's in a self-watering pot now. I thought I'd leave her in there for the remainder, but after reading up on that huge autoflower thread elsewhere on the site, they say the more medium, the bigger they'll tend to finish. Hoping the next seedling in line is a male. I'm staggering my seeds by about ten days each. Should I be able to use the pollen from a male that's two or three weeks younger than a female? Or will I have to wait until AFTER I have a good male to do a seed run?

Congrats on the female, now the fun begins!

You are going to have to wait till after the run. You need the male mature before the female if you are going to do a seed run in this manner. If you want proper seed production, the longer they have to form the better. you can use the pollen from a younger male, but you may miss the window if the female is already 3+ weeks old..

That's what I figured.

Will the males finish in 9 weeks also?
Can I turn this one male by using one of the stressing techniques I've seen? It seems to have good traits.

Theyll most likely finish faster and start popping there sacs way before then. Im not one to self a plant to make femmed seeds. Im a fan of it being natural.

well glad to see they made it through so far. Just next time i would advise putting them in some real pots. I guess i really cant get over the piles of jiffy pellets. It got the job done but it could have been out standing. Good luck with the finish.

Well guys just wanted you to know i have chopped today! I tested a bud that was dried for a sample and i was blown away. Im not gonna share a smoke report of it because it was not properly dried. I have catered to this plant and i want to give the report of the finished product. Right now she is hanging to dry and the hash is settling

So here are a few pics of her before chop and ill give full detail on both forms of smoke
