Purple in the stems

Well i used bag seed for my first grow, and i heard some one say something about purple in the stems. my plants have purple strips in the stalk and the fan leaf stems are purple to, none in the leaves thought. i know that nothing seems wrong cuz they are growing beautifully and strong. so whats up with the purple.

Its a usual occurance. If there were other issues the purple could be used as a diagnois of a deficiency but alone it usually doesnt mean anything and most plants get the purple /red look to the leave stems

What's your ph? If you have green growth but stems are purple some indica strains are like that from what I've read. No big deal. How old are these ladies?

mine are 14 days, ph is 6 and look in my gallery and grow journal, they have other issues too, not just the stem.

I need to find my camera i'll show you what I got. I have the fox farm line. The "hydro" grow big fert (there is 2 different kinds grow big soil, and hydro) is 3-2-6. When they are that small, even with the low nitrogen number I'm running 1/2 strength. My "suggestion" is to only use one of the nutes you got and use it very sparingly till you get that foxfarm. Again the purple may be nothing at all. And if your not doing so already aerate the nute solution.

ok I'll do that, I have the root stimulator at like 1/8 strength cause I ran out, so I added a 1/4 strength plant food

ok issues..one of my plants leaves are turning down and yellowing and another's is turning up and yellowing, what does it mean?
