Purple Chem Dawg after 4 days of drying

Here's my Purple Chem Dawg its only been hanging for about 3-4 days now. has about another 4-6 to go. then its snip snip snip. sorry for the poor focus on some. I used a quarter for scaling purposes.

 
This is only my 6 or maybe its my 8 grow, I'm not sure. but I can't seem to grow the badonka donk size nugs. Is this mostly due to genetics or my grow style?

Not being able to grow big could be a combination of grow tecnique and genetics.
If your on your 6 or 8th grow you should try a new method.
What is your growing medium? Size of container? Nutes? Veg time?

4k system in 2 gal pots grown about 30-36 inches tall, veg 3-5 weeks, heav 16 line ( base, prime, fire) plus GH rapid starter, greatwhite, aquashield. All in hydroton
 
I have overall height restrictions and can't really ( don't want to) go over 36 inches. Are you saying you have to be growing 4 plus footers to get the badonka donk nugs?
 
For the "Badonka Donk" Nugs Yes
If you dont want to go over that than you wont be able to grow em bigger then they are right now....just sayingbongsmilie
 
are u adding co2? did u try scrog or sog style.i built a grow box out of wood with flo tubes and the nugs i was pulling out were big using co2.
 
okay so all I smoke is hash. have for about two years maybe three. just packed a bowl of this chemdawg and it just rolled in and thumped me in the noggin. very nice.
 
its a lot about genetics, I had same room lots of big buds but some were much larger than others, nutrients have the other component, these were grown in a 3g pot 5k room, canna line. Knights TemplarView attachment 2421506 and Dream Star.2011-06-08 12.20.44.jpg

I veg these about 6 weeks under a net scrog, i get em about 3ft in veg depending on strain, they were never more than 3ft high since i kept them under the nets, some get 5/6 ft if they were left to grow upright, scrog is perfect solution for hight issues, also keep your lights as close to canopy as you can, I think I had them about 18-20 away. Also strip EVERYTHING below the canopy, the bottoms had two ft of being able to see allthe way to the other side no leaf, the canopy is about 1 ft thick, nothing but good nugs in that harvest, No Co2 running on that either. This will help you get larger nugs. You already have the nice frosty kind! I bet they smoke as good as they look.

probably just the stains you been growing. some strains grow way bigger nugs than others.
 
I just pulled huge collas of my plants that were about 3 feet tall maybe 3 1/2. I think they vegged about 5 weeks ish. This was after I changed my water pump from 15min. ON and 45min. OFF to ON 24/7. I had small buds for the first run also. I was having some isssue with low root mass, couldn't seem to get a big root ball. Once I added more water the roots took off and so did the buds.
Just putting it out there for you.

Frosty looking bud never the less, enjoy that!

you can always LST them or another technique like SOG. Tie them down to get more light evenly to all bud sights. You should get bigger nugs that way
