Psychosis anyone?

My sister has had her life turned upside down by psychosis, triggered by a trip to Amsterdam. This was 5 years ago. It took her about 18 months to get halfway back to some kind of normality. Unfortunately she has had a massive relapse, and again she admitted she had been smoking weed.
What annoys me from the pro-weed community is this idea that some people have some neurological set up whereby weed can trigger psychosis, so hey, you cant really blame the weed because it might have happened anyway. I use the analogy of someone walking along a slippy clifftop path - and youre not really at fault if you push them off cos hey they might have slipped anyway. Bullshit. Its perfectly possible my sister would have been spared this absolutely horrendous illness if she had stayed away from weed.
Weed can trigger psychosis. Deal with it...

Shiva.

Ultimately, for you, and for her, it doesn't matter whether weed exasperated an underlying issue that may never have come to focus otherwise, or it created the entire illness. She has it and I'm sorry to hear that.

My personal theory is that modern day weed cause havoc on our brains. Whether it's chemicals or just the levels of THC, I don't know. If we're strong, it doesn't noticeably affect us, for those of us not at 100%, it just makes worse.

Thanks. It is absolutely horrendous what she is going through.
I guess what annoys me are the pro weed tribe that just flat out refuse to believe that anything bad could come from smoking...

Drugs aren't for everyone. Why they fuc do people who try so damn hard to seem normal think drugs are for them? When I started hearing about people getting too high off weed, thats when i knew that social acceptance was a bad thing. How do you get "too high" off weed? It's weed.. Not Ketamine, not lsd..

Of course most of it is full of manmade chemicals, so.. The problem is idiots who say shit like "weed isn't a drug" now every fragile little baby assed skinny inhaler breathing wimp thinks they should look cool and smoke some Jingle Bros and post pics to Instagram. Leave drugs alone you fragile minded little turd bags. Go check your closet for monsters. Same mentality.
